The majority of the images in this gallery were shot on the Linhof Technorama 617.
This magnificent camera is not digital, but takes 120/220 Medium Format roll film.
The Camera has no battery, no light meter, and has no connection between film advance and shutter.
My film of choice is Fujichrome Velvia 50 or if I need the extra speed, Kodak VR (100). It is saturated and has beautifully fine grain.
Each 120 Roll yields 4 exposures! After processing, I then drum scan the images on my Optronics Colorgetter III Pro - all transparencies are oil mounted.
The image is scanned to 60 inches at 400+DPI (24000 pixels wide) and the original scan size is around 700MB.
The production time for each image is around 4 hours from start to finish (There is 1200 square inches to inspect for dust and scratches!)
