Cricket St Thomas Manor House was the house used in the British comedy series, "To the Manor Born" which ran from 1979-1981 starring Penelope Keith and Peter Bowles.
The show was written by Peter Spence and Cricket St Thomas was the home, at the time, of his father in-law.
Cricket St Thomas is now a hotel.
