This is a record of a 28-day trip in Vietnam during March 2007. The trip was arranged mainly through "Griswald's Vietnam Vacations", an Australian outfit which I found on the internet and which my local travel agent had never heard of. They provided guides (one guide for the Hanoi end of the tour, a different guide from Hué south) for just the two of us (Frances and me). A "private tour" with a good deal of flexibility for about the same price as the advertised group tours. Recommended, especially if, like us, you prefer not to travel with a busload of noisy strangers.

Very nice gallery. I only saw one section of Vietnam when I was there in '67-'68 (otherwise known as War Zone C) and it has all changed greatly since then. It sounds as though the flexibility of your tour was a much better option. Thanks for sharing. Voted.
