Tasmania 1948 - 1998

I lived in Tasmania from 1945 to 1963. Some pictures from that time are here as "Real Old" and I am still looking for more that my family and friends might have. (All my own pictures from before 1991 were lost in a fire that year.) The other pictures in this set are from (1) a trip in 1993 for a Launceston High School reunion (2) a ten-day holiday with Frances, driving a rented car, from 29/12/97 to 7/01/98. Images are scanned from colour negatives or (in the "real old" pictures) from old b & w contact prints.

2007 note: Can do better scans now, so am replacing some of these images with improved versions, and finding a few overlooked negatives to scan too.

2009 note: Satellite pictures are clearer now, so I'm fixing up some of the misplaced geotags.
