I had an invitation to a do at Parliament House, Canberra. (This was the 60th birthday party of the organisation I worked for for 29 years.) I was not sure whether I wanted to go to Canberra just for that, so I turned it into the first stage of a trip with my camper-trailer to the South Coast - the bit promoted as the "Nature Coast" - with visits planned to the Mogo Zoo, Montague Island, and the old gold-mining area of Nerrigundah. The do in Canberra was worthwhile, Mogo Zoo is great, but there was no trip to Montague Island because only 5 of the required 9 passengers signed up, and a tree had blown down blocking the road to where I wanted to go at Nerrigundah. But it was a good 1300 Km trip, nothing important broke or leaked, the caravan parks were fine, and I took a lot of pictures. Here are the best of them.
