We waited in the crowd for over an hour to see the flag-lowering ceremony. During most of
this time these soldiers stayed in line like this, while others saw to the onlookers, making
sure that the children in front eating McDonalds sat down to allow those behind to see. When
the flag was eventually lowered, there was not enough light to photograph the ceremony.
