Sleeping, but not there. Thomas Musgrave's actual grave is in Kensal Green Cemetery in London and is just a big ol' plain rectangular slab. I suspect that being laid to rest in this memorial would have been MUCH more stylish, although when you need it you're probably beyond caring about such things.
