Architecture....my preference is for older buildings and churches over the modern glass and concrete
style.
Saw this spire as we drove west and inland yesterday...
Tonight we are back on the coast as it was raining and foggy on the top of the ranges so we decided to do a 500km circle and drive to the the Sunshine Coast.
The internet is very slow so I wont bother trying to comment tonight. Thanks for the comments while I've been absent...will catch up soon.

I think old architecture is more attractive just because it looks more individual. I like how this is peeking into the sky.

I agree with you about the architecture. Beautiful b/w.

a good subject for mono. I bet that spire can be seen for miles around.
Barbara Heide03-Mar-2012 19:19
love the crossing lines of the clouds and the roof texture!
Janice Dunn03-Mar-2012 19:00
Yes, the older church buildings can be more attractive, but it's really what goes on inside the churches that is important... :)
Looks like you've done a lot of travelling. I hope you've missed the heavy rains

I also prefer older, historic structures as well! Beautiful spire Laine! :)
Yvonne03-Mar-2012 11:46
I prefer the older buildings too, much more character unless one has something really spectacular and modern to photograph... a gorgeous steeple image Laine!
Ann...03-Mar-2012 11:45
Unusual spire - it reminds me of one on a church in Barnstaple, Devon.
Enjoy your break, I hope you find some good weather
