For many it's the Christmas flower for me my Poincettia bushes flower in June,
I have not managed to catch up with comments this past couple of days..have a persistent headache I cant shed...soon I hope !!

Now winter nights enlarge
This number of their hours;
And clouds their storms discharge
Upon the airy towers.
Let now the chimneys blaze
And cups o'erflow with wine,
Let well-tuned words amaze
With harmony divine...

Absolutely gorgeous. Puts me in a wonderful mood looking at it because it is my Christmas flower.
Feel better. White vinegar compresses--can't hurt.

This certainly is reminiscent of winter for us too, though we never see it except in pots.
