Bendigo View St

The ground I walked on until we moved to the north of the county.
One of my favourite streets...this is where the tram used to run.
Note the parched dry drought ravaged soil...this was taken just 3 days after
the disasterous bushfires that took so many lives & properties, including Bendigo
where just 3 kilometres from here 57 homes & 1 life were taken.

On the left of the street is the Art Gallery where this exhibition
was being held...unfortunately I never got to see it while there.

I will be using archive images throughout this challenge. The Ground I Walk On http://form.pbase.com/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=40932

Lovely wide open roadway. The trees give it quite an elegant look.

We'll be seeing that street in a few weeks time, so glad to see there's parallel parking.
Dick just walked in and said "where's the tram?!"
