Hi you have great photos, I went to Hostal del Cafe a beatiful place but I had a sad expirience and that is that I saw how bad the owner treat her workers please don't give your money to a person like that. Another wonderful hotels are Hotel Dolores, El castillo, Las pozas

Hi everyone,

My name is Ruben and I went to Xilitla SLP last November to visit my uncle. I stayed at the Hostal del Cafe and it was like staying at "La Casa Azul" of Frida Kahlo. My grandmother lived in this town for many years. She also lived in AXTLA DE TERRAZAS were I atended first grade. Xilitla have several caves and when I was a kid there was a rumor that there was a piramid on top of the San Anton mountain. Those anybady knows anything about this or anyone been to the top of this mountain.

I was so happy to find this site and your pictures!! I visited Tamul over 15 years ago, by accident, and ever since I've been wanting to return but didn't know how to get there. I remember it's tricky getting over to the Tamul Waterfall, we took a pebble road to a small cabin and then asked for Don Catarino who took us up river on one of his rafts.
Beautiful pics!!!
Now, if anyone can give me directions on how to get there again I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

You have some great pics here. I love the Sierra Madre. Lots of hidden jewels. I backpacked there years ago (before the digital era). I have lots of South American gallaries on pbase if you are interested.
