I question whether this one and those following like it are Franklin's Gull if you saw the bird in this area. Franklin's is extremely rare (I have never seen one). What makes me think this is Laughing Gull in this shot is it's more common. In following images, Laughing seems more likely because of the visibility of small primary tips. The broad white eye arcs would otherwise identify Franklin's. I think the Laughing Gull allows redder legs than Franklin's.
