Sharp-shinned Hawk.

He moved to a closer feeder and I had just a bit too much lens, no time to remove the 1.4 extender and I was so close to this beautiful hawk I could not get all of him in the image. What a thrill. He did get his lunch as a moment later he dived into the bushes and came out with a finch. Point of interest, these birds kill their prey by squeezing the captive to death with their talons, though I suspect the birds die of fright before then. That is the way of nature.

WOW Jess! This is a GREAT shot! I just read about these guys last week in the paper and how they go right into the bushes to feed. Amazing clarity.
