First of three sets of steep stairs to climb on this rocky trail.
Lots of activity in the river estuary just out of sight were over 50 eagles feasting on the stranded fish, herring I think. Too far for photographs when one only has a max 105mm but with the binoculars we counted well over that number along with about 20 Great Blue Heron.
This is a difficult trail for me, 6K and rough and steep so I don't carry any heavy lens..my 72 year old wonky knees will only just get me there and back. Great walk though and we always see something different...
