Even though I’ve photographed many music events over the years “Making Music” is a photographic project I’m just starting. It’s more of a concept at this point than a project with a beginning and an end. The perfect place to start this project was to hang out with my brother Ross and his musician friends while they jam. As one watches the musicians during a jam session Its easy to see the moment is the only thing happening in their universe. Their passion is like a magnet for my camera. These musicians by doing their thing help to get my creative juices flowing. As I work on my photographic project I’m currently calling ”Making Music” I want to capture the emotions that create the music.
