Bickham Dickson Park

Located along the Red River in Shreveport, LA, Bickham Dickson Park has long been a favorite of area birders.
If you got all day or just on your lunch break there is always an opportunity to see birds any time of the year. One can drive the road that loops to the back of the park where great looks at Yellow-crowned Night-herons
and or waders can be seen up close and personal. There is also several trails
in the woodland area that will take you to the Red River.
