Suzhou is an hour or so west of Shanghai. It is considered a "water town" because of the rivers and canals that course through the city. There were lots of people on the streets and many small shops open for business. We also visited The Humble Administrator's Garden, a beautiful and serene area with gardens, shrines, and temples. The people we met were unusually friendly and helpful, including a taxi driver who spent an hour finding me after I left something in his car. He refused a tip!
