Lake Fontana weekend before the 4th. We all stayed at Fontana Village for the weekend and spent most of Saturday and Sunday on the Lake. Beaufiful lake, water was 400ft deep at the dam and 200 in most areas but the coves. kids were able to get out and swim and tube in a couple of the coves in about 40-50 ft of water. Lake was 22 miles from one end to the other! Water was crystal clear!. A few pictures from this weekend (7-14) Cullen and I went to Lake James for the day to fish. Also a man-made lake with dam, about 40 min from the house. It was very clear and deep in some spots...no fish caught, but we had a great time.
