April to July

In April, in the area around Pennyfield Lock, signs of Spring! Then a trip beyond Hancock, MD, for the very first time. Finally, along the Seneca Greenway between Route 28 and Berryville Road.

In May, it is later in spring and the fleabanes are everywhere in the section between Whites Ferry and the Monocacy Aqueduct. There is more Rosa Multiflora in the area of Great Falls Widewater.

In June, a beautiful morning at Point of Rocks for the trip up to Brunswick. The next trip was between Pennyfield Lock and a location north of Seneca Creek. The trail was muddy in the northern parts due to the rain, but in perfect condition south of Violettes Lock. I took a walk from Swains Lock to Great Falls to take pictures of the Great Blue Heron. I got a lot of pictures on this trip.

In July, I just managed one short trip after my heart procedure between Pennyfield Lock and Violettes Lock.
