This is in the northern part of Maryland near the town of Myersville off of I-70. It was a cold morning, about 40 degrees. The leaves have mostly dropped off the trees at Greenbrier State Park and parking lots are empty. The Appalachian Trail runs just outside of the park, and if you head north on it, you can go to Annapolis Rock, from which location you can get a good view of the valley and the park. It is was a rather cloudy and hazy day, perhaps not the best for taking pictures.
