Pittsburgh, PA, to Cumberland, MD, on the Great Allegheny Passage

The Great Allegheny Passage (GAP) is a 150 mile bike rail trail that follows abandoned tracks all the way from Pittsburgh to Cumberland. The section from Pittsburgh to Connellsville used to be owned by the Pittsburgh and Lake Erie Railroad. From Connellsville onward the trail follows tracks of the Western Maryland Railroad.

My high-school classmates and I rode the GAP in July 2019. We had ridden the same trail in 2016.
