Most images taken from my Mesa,Arizona backyard. Equipment is a Takahashi TOA-130 and Orion ED-80 mounted on a Astrophysics 1200GTO mount. Camera is a Canon 400d. Guided with the ED80 and MX7C.

Awesome pictures, Ken! Keep them coming! Kevan and I are going to Philmont Scout Ranch this summer -- Yesterday, we picked an itinerary that has an astronomy activity at one of the camping spots. We wish you could be our guide!

Ken, Nice to see your M42 up here. Hope you dont mind, but I "Borrowed" it for the
background on my work computer. got rid of the M42 I took, it just doesnt compare to yours!

Ken, these are amazing pics! I like the heart nebula, is it gas or radiation or what that makes it seem to glow red? Anyway, great pics, we took the kids to the science center on saturday, next time I'm carting them off to your place for an astronomy lesson instead!

Hi Ken, may I post your image of Comet Holmes on my site? It is the most representative view of the comet as seen in my 36" scope. That brilliant teal color is not in most of the photos when I googled it.

Nice! I've just started experimenting with my MX7C and the SXV guidehead. I'm out in Gold Canyon, so I've got less light pollution than you (nyah nyah!) but I haven't been able to produce images anywhere near yours.
