It's a fine old house, still beautiful in its decay, but sad that it could not be saved. V

Great pictures!! Happy to say this one not slated for demo--we've been jacking up the foundation, tarring the roof, etc to stabilize prior to restoration--second one of these derelict old ladies I've done--they're cheap (in some cases basically free) not technically demanding to work on, and very rewarding with the befores- and afters-. Check back at the end of the summer!! (Now if we could just keep street hooligans from rocking out the windows and stealing stuff, it'd be easier!!)

I can imagine what she would have looked like when she was a lot younger, bet she was a beauty in her day. Love the fancy trim work on these old homes. Would have made a nice rehabber once upon a time. To much work for me to tackle in my crippled up old age tho.

By now, if it hasn't been demolished, it might already have fallen down by itself!
