Ceramic Statue - Some Things Never Change

West Virginia

Sorry for quality. Taken at 10x digital zoom.

One thing to remember is that the wind always blows here and I think this statue is tied to prevent it from falling.

However, it is a reminder we all need to look in the mirror or into our souls so we can all help each other.

Well you all might be getting this all wrong. Maybe the person living in this house might realy like the statue. and tied it to the porch so it would not get bork or have someone take it.

The statue itself should not be in existance, let alone being displayed with the rope around the neck, but I hope your intention is not to generalize about the people of West Virginia or Appalachia in general for that matter. Sadly, this photo is a reflection of a percentage of people throughout the U.S.

WHY MUST you all assume we "think" the SAME because we live in West Virginia? Now that's a SAD reflection on life. There are also folks who live here with an EDUCATION as well as, morals keep in mind!
