What I like about this is the wood in its different forms; natural and painted, living and harvested. The poles still cylinders suggesting the trunks that they once were, but in contrast the wood of the barn wall and roof now flattened out and yet... still wood. The arrangement of the poles sitting between the two trunks is particularly effective at bringing this out.
