Sun Reflected

West Virginia

Psycho Kitty had a miscarriage last night. I didn't even know she was pregnant. She wasn't showing yet. She is still bleeding but the vet said that was normal and could continue for a month. However, it now changed my plan of action for bringing her inside because I will get her checked out tomorrow. I'm not sure why she miscarried except she is still a kitten herself.

I really think she was grieving. For the first time, as I sat with her on the porch, she got in my lap and laid down and purred.

She was once someone's pet and from her behavior, I can tell she was loved. I only named her Psycho Kitty because the first day I saw her she was in heat and she really did act psycho. :)

For the August challenge - Reflections. Other reflections can be seen here.

Oh, sweet little cat. I hope she recovered well from that ordeal. Poor little girl, too young for kittens. V

I think she found a home with you. I'm betting you two will be very close. I feel for her. She looks too young to be having kittens yet and I hope she is okay. She's quite beautiful!

Oh that's both a shame and a blessing as she is a kitten herself. I do hope that she recovers well.

Awwwww, she does indeed look like she is grieving, animals are smarter than people think--in fact animals are smarter than some people I know. Sweet baby, give her lots of attention.
