Any Day Now

West Virginia

I Shall Be Released
Bob Dylan
Performed by The Band

They say everything can be replaced
Yet every distance is not near
So I remember every face
Of every man who put me here
I see my light come shining
From the west unto the east
Any day now, any day now
I shall be released

They say every man needs protection
They say every man must fall
Yet I swear I see my reflection
Some place so high above this wall
I see my light come shining
From the west unto the east
Any day now, any day now
I shall be released

Standing next to me in this lonely crowd
Is a man who swears hes not to blame
All day long I hear him shout so loud
Crying out that he was framed
I see my light come shining
From the west unto the east
Any day now, any day now
I shall be released

Love your juxtaposition of image and song (one of the best of Dylan's songs performed by The Band). V

Oh yes - I hope so. There have been many wrongly imprisoned people in our jails too.

It is so sad that folks are locked up and they are innocent. I'm sure it has happened all through history. Maybe we can make it better with prayer. :)
