Erosion on blade from cavitation.
Cavitation is the phenomenon of water vaporizing or boiling
due to the extreme decrease in pressure on the forward, or
suction side of the propeller blade.
The erosion on this blade was due to the plug for the lifting
hole going missing during vessel operations.
