Panasonic DMC-LX1

Here are converted RAW shots, using ACR in Photoshop, then resized and converted to JPEG, using post processing in ACR and noise reduction in Neat Image. I have also added "regular" JPEGs that I have post processed in Photoshop like I normally do. Latest addition: Shots taken at ISO 400 using the B/W mode of the camera, and also some color with and without flash inside.

very nice, thank you. useful to see someone trying to overcome the claimed high noise on this camera and post the results, but would be more useful if we had some everyday subjects showing more fine detail and the results of noise reduction , the large metallic pumpkin, with smooth tones and not much fine detail, is an example of where a digital camera struggles to look bad any way you shoot it! (i think, feel free to shoot me down!). i am seriously thinking of buying an lx1 - so more results/feedback would be appreciated (i love the smooth tone and high resolution pics on dpreview at iso 80 for this camera but iso 400 example is a dog)

I remember you from the Oly forum on dpreview, Koo22! I'm researching the Dlux 2 as a possible second camera (to a Canon 20D) for pocket use and came across your files and comments on the Panasonic board. Would love to hear from you about your impressions. And must tell you that I'm impressed with the variety of cameras you've shot with!! Wow!
