"The Tree Outside My Apartment" by Warren Sarle

This scene was badly underexposed at ISO 6, 30 seconds, f/2.8.
So I took 4 exposures and combined them in Photoshop.
I live on the top floor, nearest corner of the building.

Kodak DCS Pro 14n ,Nikkor 16mm f/2.8 AF-D
30s f/2.8 at 16.0mm iso 6 times 4 exposures full exif

other sizes: small medium original auto

I like this picture. A nice use of backlighting to bring out the tree so well.

One ghost is me, the others are a neighbor with a white dog. I stopped using the 14n last summer because it simply refused to take photos in warm weather. It's working again now that temperatures are much lower outdoors. Indoors, sometimes it will work for a while and sometimes it won't. - Warren

Who's the ghost? I thought you got rid of your Kodak? Great shot. LVPG

Excellnet, Warren. The golden light in the tree has a fairytale quality, and the wideangled bowl shape just makes this.
Flick.
