Thanks Mark... I guess they are pruned like this to optimise the sunlight getting to the grapes.

Hi Yvonne. These are the grapevines of Blue Mountain Vineyards. The Okanagan Valley in Western Canada is one of two prominent wine growing regions in Canada. The other is the Niagra Peninsula region of Southern Ontario.
