This is a gallery of odds and ends, cluttered and eclectic, bold and experimental, mundane and pedestrian. Some might even call it a PaD (Photo-a-Day) gallery. It used to be called my "In Box". I promise I'll clean it out every now and again, so it doesn't get too huge.

Amazing pictures you have here in your gallery. I fell in love with the Alberta province. It's such a lovely contrast with the prairies on one side and the Rocky Mountains on the other side. This is what I emailed to Jared: Hi Jared, Thank you for the kind comments on my PBase photo gallery. Most of the images from the gallery you visited are in the vicinity of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. If you do come, realize that most of my photos are from just West of the city limits. Another set of photo galleries from the same vicinity is Gary Hebert's: http://www.pbase.com/turnstyle A lot of Gary's images are taken in the Banff National Park area which is a little over an hour's drive West from the Calgary International airport. Weather-wise, the most pleasant months to visit are from May to October. The busiest tourist months are July and August (accommodations are more expensive). We can get some pretty cold here in the winter months and the landscape is much less colorful than in summer or fall. I hope you get the chance to make the trip. If you enjoyed my photo galleries, you'll likely enjoy the scenery West of Calgary. Cheers, Mark
