Musei Vaticano is the public art and sculpture museum of the Vatican City. It was founded by Pope Julius II in the 16th century and contains an extensive collection of the Catholic Church. A variety of different galleries contains the world greatest art treasures.
Queing in front of the entrance for more than an hour is quite normal, but its worth it.
