We decided to walk up to the fort, even though we could see that the gate was locked. That should have tipped us off.

Shortly after this picture was taken, one of the other tourists called out "RUN if you do not want to be trapped!"

Looking at the beach, we did not see a reason for concern, but we hastened nonetheless.
