SHELTON, CT - On December 6, Shelton Companies 1 and 3 responded to Route 8 southbound just before Exit 12 for an MVA rollover. Upon arrival, units found that no extrication was needed, but the female passenger was unsure if she had her child in the car with her at the time of the accident. Firefighters then checked the woods and median all around the vehicle with flashlights and thermal imaging cameras. An aerial was special called to the scene to illuminate the area futher, but Car 2 Mike Ullrich confirmed with the driver's family that the child was not in the vehicle but safe at home.
