Phil Reeves of the Bridgeport Fire Department (Rescue-5/B-Shift) will be activated for Iraq on September 6, 2005 for a minimum 15 month tour of duty. He will join Operation Iraqi Freedom as a helicopter pilot in C Company 3 / 126AV as a CW3 in the Massachusetts’ National Guard Medevac unit. The party on August 21 which included family, friends, and co-workers was coordinated by Phil’s wife Robyn. Also pictured in the gallery are Phil’s friends Paul Albertson and Tom Joyner, who are also being activated with Phil and will be serving as CW4's.
