BRIDGEPORT, CT – At 9:34 a.m. on June 22, the Bridgeport Fire Department was dispatched to the North End of the city for ‘smoke coming from the structure’. Engine 16 arrived on scene first and reported heavy smoke showing from the attic of 1330-1332 Madison Avenue. After an aggressive interior attack, the fire in the attic of the 1 ˝ story structure was quickly knocked down.
