WASHINGTON, D.C. - A little after 4am on the morning of July 17, the DC Fire Department was dispatched to a working fire in the city's south east section. Upon arrival, the first in companies found heavy fire on all three floors of a vacant building in the 100th block of 57th Place, and a second alarm was struck.
