As a master student in landscape ecology (environmental biology) I have worked on a research project about internal seed dispersal by Mallards (Anas platyrhynchos). Identification of the seeds turned out to be challenging as helpful internet resources are limited. In this album a yet to be extended selection of seeds from plants commonly found in Western Europe is shown. I hope this would be helpful for those who want to identify seeds for whatever purpose. The photos have been taken through a binocular microscope with a handheld compact camera, resulting in a relatively low quality.
I am an archaeologist working to identify seeds from cores taken through Prehistoric sediment. Your catalogue is most helpful. Thank you.
