Merry Christmas

Next to the Red Baron, Oh Holy Night is my -favorite-favoite- Christmas Carol. Since it was only played as an instrumental last night, I'll sing it for you now. This one is for Kik, since neither of us could remember every verse, I'll give her the first. Peace to us all.

O holy night, the stars are brightly shining;
It is the night of the dear Savior’s birth!
Long lay the world in sin and error pining,
Till He appeared and the soul felt its worth.
A thrill of hope, the weary soul rejoices,
For yonder breaks a new and glorious morn.
Fall on your knees, O hear the angel voices!
O night divine, O night when Christ was born!
O night, O holy night, O night divine!

Yes, this carol beats "Gramma got run over by a reindeer" by a country mile. Powerful image, Karen. Best wishes!

I have a difficult time picking a favorite carol, but O Holy Night would be near the top. And this photo and your treatment of it does bring it to life beautifully, Karen.

My absolute favorite. I get chills every time I hear the "fall on your knees" part. I have no idea why. I've never been inside a church or synagog for a service in my life except for weddings and funerals. But I just love it. I scoured itunes for the best version last year.

Beautiful photo. Merry Christmas to you.
