No great thing here, except an experiment and lesson.
This came out ok out of camera but really lacked something. Been messing with layers for a few weeks seeing what effect blending modes had. What a difference it made here-the exposure was 'correct' on the histo, but really lacked something. Duplicated my sharpening layer, changed it from Normal to Multiply, and it really made the whole Flower pop, while retaining the detail and blur from the original.
Play is good, esp if it results in a lesson learned.

Field trip tomorrow--can't wait!!
