Magilla

Just a little experiment with a new backdrop. Couldn't round up any real people so the stuffed one was called into action. Messing with the lighting-wasn't sure how to light this: above left corner has a 'window' with 'light' coming thru so I need to be careful about the directional light. Also need to make sure the BG for this is pulled taut. Also, haven't really played with my new LR setup in the summer, and noticed a LOT of light coming from the upstairs landing which really threw off the light. Chalk this experiment to lessons learned. And fast.
No comments necessary. Enjoy the remainder of the weekend. I'll be painting and spackleing, hopefully not in that order.

Oh the pressures of running a studio! - some of us still struggle to have a charged battery in the camera!

Best of luck with it all - and I hope the quality of models picks up soon!

I have the same problem in my woodshopstudio. Too many windows and too much stray light.
Bill has his studio painted a dark grey and has no windows.
For now I find that I need to do my work after dark. I need to clean everything out, paint the walls and ceiling a dark color and install some dark shades or drapes

tooo funny.
Bill Ewart Jr07-May-2006 02:05
Now don't you wish all subjects were this still?
virginiacoastline07-May-2006 01:57
ROFLMAO!!! MOSTly at your painting and spackling remark . . .but your choice of subjects works too . . . be sure to ask your first pro subject to cross his or her eyes for your PaD =)

LOL. I have a teddy bear couple that I call the Bearsteins. They like to pose for me, too.
