Thanks for staying with me the last couple days. Have discovered that I'm one of these people that believes the night is merely the end of the day, rather than the morning the start of a new one. Have collapsed the past couple nights with the laptop downloading the cards and waking up not realizing it was done :)

The Glow from last night was a lot harder than I ever imaginged. Once it started it went pretty quick so there wasn't a lot of time for finagling with the settings. (Been shooting in manual mode for the past week or so to get a feel for it). I would have given my right eye for a 10 or 15mm lens last night.

Hope you don't get sick of these, I haven't even scratched the surface (hopefully). The dawn this morning was layer after layer of grey sky, and they ballons tried for a Mass Ascension.

And more
Here.

I'm a sucker for this type of image. I would love to go up in a hot air balloon - even although I'm afraid of heights.

These are fantastic. Don't worry about anyone getting sick of them, and don't trade your right eye for anything.

These look wonderful at night. I don't think I've ever seen them photographed this way before and it certainly works. I know I won't get tired of them. :)

Beautiful work Karen. GMV
And you didn't really need a wider-angle lens, but fyi I love my 10-22S lens for the Canon.
