Z

Zed

You-all 31 of you!-have been such charming and witty companions throughout the ordeal of finding the perfect image for your daily postings, and the resultant conversations have been not unlike what you'd find at the family dinner table altho the "U" conversations probably should have been reserved for after dinner :).
Your talents and creativity are inspiring. When everyone is done we'll have come up with more than 800 unique images! And when I think of how many people became involved in the project ( I know my family and coworkers have been suggesting items from the begining) it's like WOW!
So THANK YOU ALL! for joining me for Soup, it's been my honor to have you at my table. Sniff.. sniff.
Please, when you are done, either leave a comment, or send me a Pmail indicating which image (you can identify by letter if you want) you'd like linked in the gallery. (I'll be making a sub gallery for my own). And give me a little while to get them all up, I'm not real good at this linking stuff yet. It'll be a testament to your work!

Thanks!

Karen, I never ever imagined your idea would take off as it did; how amazing and how fun and how wonderful! Thanks for thinking of it, inviting us to play, and linking everyone together. I started with a bang and I'm still two images shy of a full alphabet, for which I hold the supermarket completely responsible. That, and the country of Chili, but that's another story. This image is a wonderful Z. Just fantastic. Way TO GO!!!

Great 'Z', Karen. It's easy to find yourself truly stressed over the deadlines like PADs and Alphabet Soups. I think you captured that in a humorous way. Nice job.

LOL Great finale!! And isn't it the truth? :) Great job, and thanks for inspiring us all, and organizing the fun! This has been the most fun I've had with PaD, yet. You're awesome, Karen, thank you! I am going to put up a dedicated ABC gallery tonight, if you wouldn't mind linking. Thanks again! :)

I like this Zzzz ending as well. I thought it was a great idea with that alaphet soup. HOwever, by the time I found out about it, it was way to late to participate. NOt only was it fun to see what others used for their letters, but I actually expanded my vocabulary. So you gave me entertainment and I actually learned something while watching all those soups.

Thank you so much for cooking this soup, it sure had a lot of ingredients! You sure did start and end with a bang here Karen.

LOL Karen, superb finish, love that expression, it is P for Priceless!! I wished I had more time to join in, but just have my hands into way to much right now with my son's upcoming graduation from the Marines and Christmas. If you do it again after the holidaze let me know. :-)

laine8209-Dec-2004 01:26
Ah Karen, just as in the beginning, you have ended with such impact !! This is a very funny & imaginative Zzzzzzed !! The soup has been the tastiest I have tried in a long time....even those who jumped into the pot wearing their underwear....well,at least they removed their socks, which when you think about it, is not a good look & tastes even worse...yuk !! ;>)

Rest easy now & let the nightmares fade.
