A little cottege on the edge of Chilmark pond, was orignally (in the early 1920's) a fishing shack my great grandfather used to get away from my great grandmother who stayed in Worcester, MA
It became very grand over the years, but washed away at least 2x beginning with the 1938 hurricane.
It's now a 'camp' but wonderful-Coleman lanterns when the kerosene lamps are too delicate for the rowdiness that sometimes goes on, gas stove and refridge, and the most beautiful scenery (I'm a little biased) in Chilmark. A place where the craziness of life is put aside.
