This is one of 'rare' zoom lenses made, and at least has CZJ title.
When it was introduced at the mid 1980, it was a quite fast zoom
and its distorsion was fairly well corrected as a zoom lens with macro
capability at the telephoto end, which is a very nice touch. There is
M42 mount version of the lens called Vario-Pancolar 35-70/2.7-3.5.
Macro goes to 1:2.8 better than what the manual is saying goes 1:3.
