Keewatin

The Keewatin was built in Scotland for the Canadian Pacific Railway and sailed the Atlantic in 1907. It had to be separated into two pieces to get through the Welland Canal, and was placed in regular service in 1908, on the Owen Sound to Port Arthur and Fort William run. In 1912, the run was altered to Owen Sound to Port McNicoll, and ran this route until 1965, when it was retired. In 1967, it was moved to Saugatuck-Douglas, Michigan, where it remains on display.
