Built in 1953 as the Ernest T. Weir. Had the distinction of replacing the Edmund Fitzgerald as the flagship of Oglebay Norton's fleet. In 1978 it was renamed the Courtney Burton, and then in 2006, was sold and again renamed, is now the American Fortitude.
