Does anyone out there have the School #38 1925 photograph of 8th grade graduates of Miss Durney's class? Students' faces were arranged on one large photograph. Some of the names on the picture were: Mary Nevils, Mary Wright, Ruth Campy, Angeline Zabaldo. If you have this photograph, please contact me. I will be glad to pay the expense of having it copied, mailing cost, etc. My mother was Mary Nevils. I have written a book about her interesting life and would love to have this photo. At the time, she was 14-15 years old. Her parents could not afford the photo so she never owned one. She told me about it a year before she died. I am 76 years old and it would mean a great deal to me to have a copy of this photograph. Thomas C. Kelly
I used to live across the street in a vacant brick building. There was no running water, no electric and only body heat for three long cold winters. Really don't know how I survived. I don't remember the address, never got mail there, it was one in from the corner of 16th. It was the mid-90's. Just wondered what the building was like in the 60's and 70's. The West Side has been on a slide.

I attended K-6 and loved my teachers. The music teacher was terrific. I had a crush on Danny M, the crossing guard's son. Everyone knew...too funny!. I think I left in 1973 or 1974...can you tell me if there is a reunion for us? Or, how does this work as we only attended until 6 or 7th grade,I beleive.
I graduated from this school in 1961. Lived across the street. Great school, as it was new at the time. Moved out of the West side so I could attend Bennett. Oh well, I loved living on the West Side. I miss Buffalo very much, moved away in 1974. Thanks for this site Karl. It's wonderful to have this to visit in my old age.
