My parents, Robert (Majchrzak) Morley and Irene Kurzak, met at this church during a dance about 1946. They married and are still alive in Florida, ages 91 and 87. They always talked about this church and I remember seeing it. Of course when you meet your spouse in a place, that place is forever.

Photo brings back so many memories. As an alter boy I can remember this church being packed on Sunday's. Father Caputa was my favorite!

I was there, it was a very sad day. I still cannot believe that our beloved parish is closed.

I should add that the parish merged with St. Stephen, Sts. Rita and Patrick, St. Valentine, and Precious Blood parishes.
